Meldreth Snowdrop Fanfare

I am so lucky to live in the beautiful Cambridgeshire village of Meldreth. We have a wonderful nature reserve that runs through the village called Melwood and it was a winters walk in Melwood that was my inspiration for this piece. The trees were only just starting to show the first signs of bud but the ground was covered in a bright glowing blanket of snowdrops. I had never tried anything like this, without the trees in full bloom, but it really was a glimmer moment in a dark, cold day and I couldn't wait to share it with you.
